IMPORTANT NOTES: Unavailability of World Cup 2014 Matches on HyppTV

We wish to inform TM has not been awarded with the broadcasting rights for the upcoming World Cup 2014. We are unable to obtain the broadcasting rights as another Pay TV provider has secured exclusive rights for the content. Therefore, TM is bounded by the rights including the availability of the matches on Free – To – Air (FTA) channels i.e. the national channels, RTM.

We remain firm with our belief that content broadcasted through FTA channels should be free and we are just as disappointed as you are.

As our token of appreciation to customers, we will be providing the following alternative broadcast of free local movies throughout the duration of the World Cup season to all broadband customers who are subscribing to packages equipped with HyppTV.

1.    FREE viewing of RTL CBS Extreme HD (Channel 617) for 3 months from 1 June to 31 August 2014, exclusive for HyppTV Sports Pack subscribers. Customers will enjoy best action adventure, reality series and extreme sports content such as Red Bull Cliptomaniacs, Red Bull Air Races, Fear Factor, NCIS: Los Angeles, great illusionists shows such as Criss Angel BeLIEve, and many more. This channel is also available for their viewing pleasure on HyppTV Everywhere application.

2.    Favourite local movies such as Selamat Pagi Cinta featuring Fazura and Sharifah Amani, and many more, replacing World Cup matches and replays on RTM 1 and RTM 2, everyday from 12 June until 13 July 2014 as per World Cup matches scheduled on both channels.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Auto Worthiness Check for UniFi service

Dear Valued Partner,

We are pleased to announce the Auto Worthiness Checking (AWC) for UniFi service will be implemented in NOVA on 27th February 2014. The Auto Worthiness Checking is a policy to check on customer credit status based on customer level across products and services. Implementation of AWC shall prevent fraudulent subscriptions and non-worthy customers. The policy is applicable for customers from the Residential (R) and Business (S10, S20, S30, S40 & A10) segments. 

Criteria check:

a) Main indicator of checking is Primary ID (IC/Passport/BR number)

b) Any new subscription for TM existing customer with the following credit status shall be blocked from registration

    • Final Account – customer with outstanding bills more than RM0
    • Delinquent Account (Live Account)
    • TOS Blacklist (Acct Status = TOS, PPR, CORD, PFA)
    • Fraud /blacklisted from Fraud Mgmt System
    • Legal Action
    • Winding- up
    • Bankruptcy
    • Write-off

c) Customers with outstanding bills can proceed with registration once payment is made.

d) However, customers with Fraud status will be blocked during registration. If the customers insist for the service, Fraud team shall conduct investigation and customers status must be cleared before proceed with the service subscription.

e) Customers with multiple Billing Account (BA) will be considered as unworthy if one of the accounts is with unworthy credit status. Customer with unworthy status will not be able to submit order unless it has been approved by supervisor. Approver list as below:

                      i. TMpoint – Supervisor and above

                     ii. TMUC – Operation Manager and Team Manager

                    iii. TMSC – Team Leader and above

                    iv.  CSM State – Executive or Manager

Dear Valued Partner,

Despite a constant reminder on the wrong email address, we are disappointed that there are partners who still failed to enter accurately and appropriately CUSTOMER EMAIL ADDRESS during the registration process. Address.  The statistic of cases highlighted by the Credit Management are alarming and need to be attended seriously

We believe in your serious commitment in acquiring quality sales, hence, please alert your team to adhere strictly the sales and registration process to avoid customer’s line get disconnected unnecessarily for not receiving the bills.

Please find below, the common mistakes on wrong/invalid email address captured in partner portal.


Again, we hope this email will treat as a final reminder to all partners again to adhere strictly in registering correct partner’s information.  Please also take note to remove immediately free TM email with,  We will not tolerate any more complaints of this nature by your team in the future.
